A dedicated Visean server is installed on the rig with any required ancillary equipment for satellite linkage and the appropriate Visean systems and software. As Visean's systems operate independently of the client's rig-based computers and systems, transmission of real-time data and multiple documents has no impact on client data-processing capacity or communications. In fact, Visean's data transmission system uses less than two percent of the rig's available satellite bandwidth.

Our international support staff monitors our systems in real time to ensure a stable data stream 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Data access is restricted to client-authorized personnel who can access Visean services only if equipped with both password and RSA SecureID token. The RSA SecureID two-factor system is the industry-leading solution for electronic data protection.

Physical protection is also a paramount concern. Each Visean data center has controlled access 24/7, redundant HVAC and fire protection systems, multiple alarm systems and video surveillance.

Visean's client support teams are dedicated to finding and fixing potential threats before they pose any problems to our clients. Our sophisticated client support systems and dedicated teams monitor satellite communications, routers, internet connections and remote Visean servers continuously.

Because Visean's proactive support staffs monitor client data flows 24 hours a day, Visean clients boast the best real-time online ratio in the industry.  With two support centers, in Houston and Melbourne, support response time is fast and effective no matter where or what the issue.
